Wharf Garage is a family run business established in 1984 by Stephen Brooks. After qualifying as a Motor Mechanic Stephen took on his own Garage in New Mills, High Peak.
Many of Stephen's customers have been with him since the beginning and return for the honest, trustworthy and personal service he aims to provide for everyone needing Vehicle Service, Repairs and MOTs in New Mills and the surrounding High Peak areas.
After completing an Apprenticeship and specialist training at Mercedes-Benz Stephen's oldest son, Damon, has joined him at Wharf Garage as an Independent Mercedes-Benz Specialist bringing a wealth of knowledge in Engine Management and Diagnostic training to assist with being able to maintain the vehicles of today.
All vehicles have advanced dramatically with electronics, we strive to stay up to date with current changes and issues, investing in the latest technology and dealer specific and third party engine management and diagnostic equipment and training.

Stephen's oldest son, Damon, has taken steps to acquire invaluable skills which complement the services offered at Wharf Garage. Alongside 6 years Mercedes-Benz dealership experience and over 35 years of advanced generalist experience passing on from Steve Brooks, Damon has brought a wide array of training and qualifications in house. With both Mercedes-Benz official training, completed at the Mercedes-Benz UK headquarters in Milton Keynes and advanced training in modern mechanical and electronics from other training facilities.

Wharf Garage has two MOT bays one being a 6 Meter, 6000kg class 4, 5 & 7 MOT ramp for the heavier, larger wheel base vans, pickups minibuses and motorhomes. In addition we have two wheeled MOT testing equipment for motorbikes class 1 & 2, promoting Wharf Garage to a high class fully functional MOT Test Centre in New Mills High Peak.

Engine Oil Pressure low - traced to blocked oil pick up.
Payments - We accept cash and debit/credit cards in person only or by bank transfer before collection of the vehicle.
Ownership of parts belong to Wharf Garage until paid for in full E&EO. Payment is required in full on collection of vehicle.
FREE MOT RETESTS - can only be applied at Wharf Garage when the original MOT failure has been completed and issued by Wharf Garage. The failed vehicle must be re-presented /booked in for re-test with all works completed satisfactorily according to the MOT testing standards within 10 days of original MOT failure. If the failed vehicle is represented for retest after 10 days has expired, a FULL MOT test would need to be carried out at full price.
Wharf Garage require basic personal information when a vehicle is booked in for works such as Name, Address, Vehicle details and a contact telephone number. This information may be retained by Wharf Garage for customers vehicle history logs to assist with any vehicle/work queries or warranty issues and will be used solely for Wharf Garage. GDPR apply.
